Austentic Stainless Steel Hot Rolled Plates

Stainless Steel Plates

“Austentic Stainless Steel Hot Rolled Plates are being used widely in fabrication of machineries and componenets for heavy engineering industries being serving to Chemical Industries, Pharmaceuticals, Atomic Sectors, Sugar Industries and many more.”

Austenitic stainless steel plates is the most important group of the family of stainless steel plate because of its corrosion resistance, ease of fabrication, wide range of mechanical properties, and wide range of temperatures at best possible price.

Austenitic stainless steel plates are purely non-magnetic. When nickel is added to stainless steel upto particular point, the structure of the plates being changes to "austenite." The basic composition of 300 series austenitic stainless steels is average 18% chromium and 8% nickel and it enhances their corrosion resistance and modifies the structure from ferritic to austenitic. Austenitic grades are the most commonly used stainless steels, accounting for more than 66% of production, and they are not hardenable by heat treatment but can be softened with the respective treatment procdure.

Applications of Stainless Steel Plates

Stainless plates have multiple use but it is not being used in bare form but in some fabrication job form. These plates are being highly demanded in industries like Marine, Shipbuilding, Dockyard, Navy, Chemical and Pharmaceuticals, Sugar, Fertilizer, Oil and Refineries.

Why Stainless Steel Plates

The main reason for stainless steel plates to be used in these various industrial applications is because it is a chromium nickel metal which is in short more strong in characteristic and anti corrosive.
