Process of manufacturing hot Rolled Flat Bars:
Hot rolled flat bars are made out of billets. Billets are being tampered
as per the kind of metallic it is and rolled into required size. Normally
the length of such flat bars are 5 to 7 meters. These flat bars start
from 1 mm to 50 mm thickness.
After rolling because of hot temperature rolling it gets blackish especially
in case of stainless steel, if it is mild steel or alloy steel then
the finish always being black there is no issue. But in case of stainless
steel it should be bright finish that is aluminum finish and that is
why mills or traders get these stainless flat bars into acid cleaning
and removes complete carbon layer fro these flat bars.
We should mention here that flat bars are available in multiple with
as well as exact width, although exact width have some standard size
system and those sizes are only available. Such exact sized flat bars
are comparatively costlier than normal flat bars.
